 Setting: We are located 11 miles south of Petersburg, Alaska just off of Mitkof Highway. Our home is on the shore of the narrowest point in Southeast Alaska’s Inside Passage. Wrangell Narrows is literally in our front yard. King Salmon and Halibut fishing begin just feet from our front door.
It’s a great location for viewing the shipping and boating action of the Alaska Marine Highway. Adjacent to our bed and breakfast is a State dock and boat launching ramp. A short walk in the other direction and the Tongass National Forest is in our back yard. We live amidst the largest Temperate Rain Forest in the world. It provides an abundance of life around every corner. From Muskeg to Old Growth Forest, from the Great Stikine River to the Majestic LeConte Glacier, from the Bald Eagles, Bears, Deer, Moose, Wolves, Whales, Porpoise, Seals, Sea Lions, King Crab, King Salmon, Halibut, to the mountains & streams that feed them, we have it all!
Your Hosts: Pete and Ginger Pellerito will be your hosts during your stay at The Papke House B&B. Pete, originally from Tawas, MI, is a 25 year resident of Alaska. Ginger, originally from Roseburg, OR, is an eleven year resident. Both have extensive knowledge of the local area and people. They would be happy to share their experiences in Alaska with you and help you create some of your own.
 Accommodations: Our guest accommodations are located on the ground level of our home. The self-sufficient living quarters are completely private with a separate entrance. Your rental will consist of: two rooms, one queen and one full, two bathrooms, living area, kitchen and laundry facility.
Amenities: The Kitchenette is complete with range/stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, sink, cabinets, all pots pans and cooking utensils. Dining room table looks out over the dock and Narrows. Outdoor BBQ, VCR and satellite TV, Guest phone (local access or calling card), and a cleaning table for the successful fisherman. Some freezer space is available. You handle your own catch.
 Services: There are various sources available to vacuum pack, freeze and ship your catch of seafood. We can direct you to them. Skiff rentals are available for the do-it-yourself fisherman through Petersburg Vacations.
Policies: Children over the age of 12 are welcome. The Papke House is a Non-smoking home. However, guests who smoke may do so outside. Check-in is at 1pm and check out is at 11am. Please inform us of any special needs you may have when you make your reservation. We’ll do our best to satisfy your requests.
Rates: EARLY BIRD SPECIAL $750 / WEEK BEFORE JUNE 1st

- Weekly $900.00
Reservations: Advanced reservations must be guaranteed by a deposit equal to one nights lodging. The balance is due upon arrival payable by cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card or debit card. Advanced reservations require a minimum two-night stay. Weekly rates are based on a 6 day, 5 night stay. Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to reservation in order to receive a refund. There will be a $50.00 service charge on all cancellations. We recommend that you make advanced reservations. During peak season (April – September) we may be book far in advance.
